Write a Haiku as You Immerse Yourself in Nature

Are you ever inspired to express yourself as you walk in nature? Do words come to mind that would give form to your impressions of the beauty surrounding you? What kinds of feelings are engendered by immersing yourself in a natural environment?
Join docent Joanne Freemire on a short walk in the Fiscalini Ranch forest where you will find inspiration to write your own poems to capture a special moment in this magical place.
Two simple poetry forms will be taught - Haiku & Tanka. Please bring your own pen/pencils; we will supply clipboards and paper. Children are welcome with adult supervision. No dogs please; rain cancels event. There are no restroom facilities on the Ranch so plan accordingly.
