2025.07.14 | With Gratitude from the Lampton Cliffs Restoration Project
By Suzanne Fiedler, Lampton Cliffs Restoration Project
Friends of Fiscalini Ranch Preserve (FFRP) volunteers epitomize the best of our lovely town. They are a dedicated, hard-working group who donate their time and energy to beautify and maintain the Ranch.
But the limits of their volunteerism does not stop there. Several members have also participated in another project for the past eight months, the Lampton Cliffs Restoration Project, a part of SLO County Parks Adopt-A-Park program. FFRP volunteers essentially launched the project and from Day 1 (October 22, 2024), they have provided much needed advice, tools, equipment, and a willingness to do the hard work of restoration. They have sustained the project throughout.
The improvements we’ve been able to achieve together have resulted in a fresh start toward a more ecologically friendly environment for local plants and wildlife. In addition, enhanced conditions will benefit park visitors.
We are truly grateful for all the support FFRP has provided and appreciate the cooperation of FFRP from the beginning, when the project was still a wish waiting to come true.
THANK YOU ALL!
