FOREST HEALTH & WILDFIRE PREVENTION PROJECT
September 1 – Mid-October
WORK WILL BE TAKING PLACE ALONG TRAILS AND IN THE FOREST.
Crews will be removing dead trees, thinning dense vegetation, and chipping woody debris to improve forest health and reduce wildfire risk.
PLEASE BE AWARE:
- Temporary trail closures may occur.
- Follow all posted signs and directions from crews.
- Do not enter closed trails or work areas.
- Be prepared to use alternate routes.
This project is a collaboration between the San Luis Obispo Fire Safe Council, Upper Salinas-Las Tablas Resource Conservation District, Cambria Community Services District, and Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.
