Stroll the twists and turns of forest trails with your naturalist forest guide on a beautiful Fall morning and explore your senses as you experience the changes that Mother Nature gifts us. Acorn woodpeckers busy harvesting acorns from our coastal oak trees...what does this tell us? Female woodrats fortifying their many-roomed homes...do they know something is coming? Mule deer plumping up on moistened grasses...what are they preparing for? You decide as each turn of the trail brings you into a different "room", filled with new discoveries to brighten your senses. Enjoy enlightening conversations with your new forest walk friends while asking questions, providing answers, and simply BEING aware.

This walk has very little elevation gain. Children are welcome with adult supervision. Sorry, no dogs please. There are no restrooms on the Ranch so plan accordingly. Rain cancels.
