The Fiscalini Ranch Forest in Winter
Location: Registrants will be informed of location
Docent: Gil Eastman
What does a forest in winter on the central coast look like? What does it smell like? What is happening under our feet? Does the forest talk to itself as it welcomes the changes of winter? Can we become part of this conversation as we enter the forest? Join a docent guide to answer these questions and more as you walk an easy 2 1/2 mile stroll with very little elevation change. Learn about the trees, plants, animals, and human history of this Cambria gem.
Bring water, tick spray for peace of mind, wear shoes that cover the toes, and long pants to protect from poison oak. Children are welcome with adult supervision. No dogs please. Current CDC Covid guidelines will be followed. The walk is free and open to the public by reservation only. Rain cancels.« Back to Events
