Looking for Mama & Calf

Looking for Mama & Calf
May 27
10am - 12pm

Location: Registrants will be informed of location
Docent: Duffy Burns

Join this gentle walk to enjoy the FRP’s beautiful coast and its diverse ecology. We expect to see a variety of marine mammals, including mother & calf grey whales, as they make the longest migration of any marine mammal. Other highlights will include wildflowers, marine algae, native food preparation sites, and a brief history of Friends of the Fiscalini Ranch Preserve.

Binoculars recommended. The walk is approximately 2 miles along the coastal bluff with very little elevation gain. There are no toilet facilities on the Ranch-come prepared. The walk is open to all by reservation only. Children are very welcome, with adult supervision.  No dogs please.  Rain cancels the walk.
