Notice seasonal changes as you wander the Ranch's forest trails. Is that an Amanita muscaria showing its beautiful red, orange, and yellow colors-all with a crown of white decorations?  Just how many spectacular rust gills can you spot surrounding that amazing Monterey pine? Look for bright red Christmas berries adorning native toyon trees, a true sign of the season!  And keep your eyes wide open as we continue to search for our beloved forest gnome. Bring your curiosity and enjoy a walk with a knowledgeable forest docent guide.

Discover the answers while strolling an easy 2 1/2 mile shady forest walk on trails with very little elevation change. The walk is free and open to the public by reservation only. Wear closed toe shoes and clothing that protects from poison oak. Children are welcome with adult supervision. No dogs please; rain cancels event.
