How is the abundance of plant life in the forest influencing our senses-both mental and physical?  Is the ocean and forest air we inhale beneficial to our spirit and body?

Learn about this and more while on an easy 2 1/2 mile stroll with a knowledgeable docent.  Look for hiding blue bellies, flying squirrels, soaring condors, and secretive woodrats while examining beautiful wildflowers, iconic Monterey pines, and twisted coastal oaks.  Who were the humans living here as long as 10,000 years ago?  How did the European explorers and the Native American tribes work with each other...or did they?

The walk is along forest trails with very little elevation gain.  Wear closed toe shoes to protect the feet, and clothing that protects from contact with poison oak.  Children are welcome with adult supervision.  No dogs please.  Current CDC guidelines will be followed.  The walk is free and open to the public by reservation only.
