oin a knowledgeable docent guide for a Fiscalini Ranch Preserve forest walk while you learn about the mysteries of the communication going on under our shoes. We've all seen the incredible display of mushrooms following rain...but what about the organism that pops these beauties up? Are they parasites? Or are they beneficial to our monterey pine and coastal oak forest? How do these varied species talk with each other? Are trees given nutrients and moisture from underground organisms? How about algae and fungi lichens...symbiotic, or parasitic? Learn how to "notice what you notice' and ask questions of the natural world that surrounds us.
